The Christian Lamps of Egypt

Some of the worst persecution against Muslim background believers in North Africa today is coming from family members, rather than government officials. Authorities frequently ignore the attacks, because they are sympathetic with the attackers.

Lana (not her real name), 19 years old, was raised in a devout, Muslim Egyptian home. She was taught to hate Christians. One day, a Muslim schoolmate asked Lana to join her in listening to Christian radio programs. They corresponded with the hosts to provoke them with questions they believed the Christians could not answer.
